Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor best well-known for his part in the popular television show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. From the time he was in university Christopher Meloni has always been interested in the acting world. He pursued a degree in acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he was active in TV and film but his performances on the smaller screen were what earned him recognition. His ability to portray characters in both legal and non-legal settings has captured the attention of the public. The first show he worked on was a television show, but he later played an officer for the NYPD. Because of his portrayal on the small screen, he's been up for nomination numerous times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. It is his trademark piercing, blue eyes which have been said to make him look handsome. They've assisted in play tough characters in a charming manner. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
